Maguire Service Solutions

As the principal in Maguire Service Solutions, Tom Maguire has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, sales, and service.  A brief biography follows:


I started my career in 1982, working for Integral Corporation in Dallas, TX.  I held positions in quality control, process engineering, field engineering, and sales.  During my 12 year tenure at Integral, I learned the internal operations of manufacturing, as well as customer facing issues while in field engineering and Sales.  In 1994, I relocated to Northern California, working directly for Channell Commercial, which at the time was the exclusive marketing arm for Integral Corp in the CATV market.   While at Channell, I covered both CATV and Telco markets, and increased sales in both area's.

In 1997, I went to work for CommScope as a district sales manager covering Northern California, Nevada, and Utah.  In 2006, I moved to CommScope's corporate office in Hickory, North Carolina, to become the Director of Sales Operations.  In this position, I was responsible for managing and developing an inventory management program with our customer base.  From 2006 to 2010, we took this program from 10 locations, to over 100.  In addition to the inventory management program, I was responsible for the order management cycle, and routinely lead meetings with all departments (planning/scheduling, warehouse, cable Transport) to discuss customer issues, and develop solutions to improve our service model. 

    In 2007, CommScope acquired Signal Vision, and I was responsible for incorporating the product line in to the order management cycle for CommScope.  This required working with IT, transportation, and scheduling to develop the processes and procedures for processing of orders.
